NATURAL GAS CARBON BATHS (DRY)

are served on a deck chair in PVC sacks. For their preparation the natural spring gas is used at our health resort and this gas is caught directly from the natural source (bore hole).

In gas carbon baths the carbon dioxide is absorbed through the skin, the baths influence cutaneous sensorial organ in the same way as the bathtub carbon bath. They initiate pleasant sense of warmth by interference of receptors of activity for the warmth, which increases, and activity for coldness, which decreases.

They influence circulation of blood and bring relaxation and sedative effects. The baths decrease itching reflexion and feeling of pain. They have anti - inflammatory and anti -oedematous effects. During the baths the blood pressure decreases, pulse frequency lowers and work of the heart is easier, because the heart is not oppressed with the warmth. Hydrostatic pressure endurance does not exist in dry baths. Absorbed carbon dioxide supports the activity of breathing centre in the brain. Bath can be applied as the partial one (for legs) or total (for the whole body). Relaxation music during the bath improves its relaxation and anti - stress effects.
