BEAD BATHS AND VITALIZERS

Belong to procedures with mechanical effect (water massage procedures). These procedures vary by their technical equipment, area of their effectivity, intensity, and by a pertinence for a particular individual and particular diagnosis.

Bead baths are prepared by babbling water of temperature of 37°C by means of air from the bottom of the bath that is connected to a central pressure source. Common grid from well known Slovakian producer of medical equipment (Chirana Piešťany) is used. Bubbles of gas raise evenly from the bottom to the surface, which evokes gentle tactile stimulation followed-up by calming down and relaxation.

Bath is suitable also for children.

Vitalizers are prepared by using the high-quality appliances from Dr. Frenkel (appliance + special massage cushion). Geometrically ordered nozzles are variably adjustable and affect the way of stream (to the spine body column or for the purpose of the whole body massage). Construction of the device that forces the air in the cushion enables several degrees of intensity of the effect.


Indications for the water massage cures:

• chronical vein insufficiency
• traumatogenic conditions
• spastical and weak paralysis, conditions after poliomyetilis
• neurosis (vasomotorical, climacterical)
• head pains, insomnia
• oncoides, lymphatic congestion
• chronical congestion
• chronical spine sore syndroms
• chronical joint difficulties
